Permanent makeup, or PMU, is a form of cosmetic tattooing that enhances the shape and color of brows, lips, or eyes using a machine and medical-grade pigment. It’s designed to fade gradually over time for a soft, natural look.
Powder brows (also called ombre brows) are created using a machine to deposit pigment in soft layers, giving a shaded, pixelated effect similar to brow makeup. Unlike microblading, powder brows are less invasive, longer-lasting, and better for all skin types—including oily or mature skin.
We apply a strong topical numbing cream before and during the procedure. Most clients describe the feeling as a light scratching or vibration. Some areas, like lips and eyes, may feel more sensitive, but we do everything possible to keep you comfortable.
Results typically last 1 to 3 years depending on the area treated, your skin type, lifestyle, and how well you follow aftercare. Touch-ups are recommended every 12 to 24 months to maintain shape and color.
Healing takes about 7 to 14 days. You’ll experience some scabbing or flaking as your skin regenerates. Color may appear darker initially and then lighten as the skin heals. Full results are visible after 4 to 6 weeks, when your touch-up is scheduled.
You should not apply makeup on or near the treated area until the skin is fully healed. This helps prevent infection and improves pigment retention.
Yes. We recommend all PMU services a perfecting session 6 to 8 weeks after your first treatment. This allows us to make any color adjustments, reinforce pigment, and ensure optimal symmetry and healing.
PMU is not recommended if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, prone to keloids, undergoing chemotherapy, have certain autoimmune conditions, or are on Accutane. We’ll review your medical history during your consultation to ensure you’re a good fit.
In many cases, yes. We offer color correction and shape refinement depending on how faded the previous work is. A consultation is required to assess your existing pigment and skin health.
We use high-quality, professional-grade pigments designed for cosmetic tattooing. They are stable, fade predictably over time, and are safe for use on the face. Our pigments are free of heavy metals and iron oxides that can turn blue or red.
