At Bella Aesthetica Medical Spa, we offer expertly crafted permanent makeup by certified injector and licensed body art practitioner, Ila Reed, CNP. Whether you’re enhancing your brows, lips, or eyes, our goal is to create a soft, natural look that complements your features and saves you time every morning.
All treatments are performed with attention to detail, safety, and artistry in a clean, licensed medical environment.
Permanent makeup (PMU) is a form of cosmetic tattooing that enhances the natural appearance of brows, lips, and eyeliner. We use high-quality pigments and advanced techniques to achieve a soft, shaded effect that heals beautifully and fades gracefully over time.
This service is ideal for clients who want to simplify their daily routine, enhance symmetry, or restore definition lost through aging, over-plucking, or medical conditions.
Powder/Ombre Brows
A soft, pixelated brow that mimics the look of makeup. Perfect for all skin types and those who want a more defined but natural shape.
Lip Blush
A gentle wash of color to enhance lip shape, correct uneven tone, and create a fuller, more youthful appearance. Results are soft, never overdone.
Permanent Eyeliner
Define your lash line with subtle top or bottom eyeliner. This enhances the eyes without needing daily liner application.
Each PMU treatment requires a healing period of approximately 7 to 14 days. During this time, you may experience slight scabbing and fading as your skin regenerates. Full results are visible after your perfecting session, which is typically scheduled 6 to 8 weeks after the initial appointment.
You’ll receive detailed aftercare instructions and products to ensure proper healing and color retention.
How long does permanent makeup last?
Results typically last 1 to 3 years depending on your skin type, lifestyle, and how well you follow aftercare. Color touch-ups are recommended every 12 to 24 months.
Is it painful?
We use medical-grade topical numbing agents to keep you comfortable during the procedure. Most clients describe the experience as mildly scratchy or ticklish.
Am I a good candidate?
Most healthy adults are great candidates. We do not perform PMU on clients who are pregnant, breastfeeding, prone to keloids, or on certain medications. A consultation will help determine if it’s right for you.
Can I wear makeup during healing?
You’ll want to avoid applying makeup directly over the treated area while it heals. Clean, dry skin will promote better pigment retention.
Is it safe?
Absolutely. Ila is a certified injector, licensed PMU artist, and a nurse practitioner with over 25 years of medical experience. We use sterile, single-use equipment in a medically supervised setting.
